A little something I wrote a while back. . .
And the rain comes falling
from the black sky
It darkens the earth
as the horses gallop freely
over the barren rock
manes flying behind,
eyes wide open in terror
And the shadows following
linger and turn to ash
to blow away with the
incessant wind
And all is gray
until the red comes up
to devour the earth,
flames licking the
fleeing heels of all,
good and evil alike.
Death knows not the
difference between the two
for all come to the same
END.
